The future of our state depends on the future of higher education and the Beaver Caucus is a place where alums and supporters can come together to make a difference for Oregon State University. On behalf of the Beaver Caucus, I would like to invite you to OSU Day at the Capitol on Thursday, April 20. This university-sponsored event is a chance to meet with legislators and appeal to them directly for increased funding for higher education, including an overall increase for university operating funds, new funding for capital improvement projects and funding for critical on-campus research and OSU statewide programs. Helping deliver on these legislative priorities on behalf of the university will be critical to meeting the needs of our students and the state’s economy.

OSU Day will start with registration at 8:00 a.m. and events will continue throughout the day. President Ray and Benny will be there along with OSU students, alumni and supporters from around the state. The day will conclude with a reception at 4:30 p.m. in the Galleria. The Beaver Caucus will be there all day to support this university-led event and we urge you to join us for whatever part of the day you can attend. We’ll prepare talking points to help you be an effective advocate. Please register here to join us in Salem on April 20. If you have any questions, please contact the Beaver Caucus Events Coordinator, Rebecca McAuliffe at 503-539-2856 or rebeccam@quinnthomas.com.
