Beaver Caucus Advocates—

We have two great upcoming opportunities for you to get involved, one in-person and one virtual. We hope you can join us!

Homecoming Event

Homecoming is always a special time for the OSU community, but this year’s iteration is particularly meaningful as it helps mark the reopening of campus. You are invited to join OSU advocates, including alumni, current students and elected officials at the 5th annual Advocacy Homecoming Gathering, brought to you by the Beaver Caucus and ASOSU (OSU’s student government organization). Enjoy lunch, hear from current ASOSU leadership and spend time with fellow OSU supporters. The event will take place at the OSU Alumni Center on Saturday, October 23, 1:30pm. Space is limited, so register today.

Register for the Advocacy Homecoming Gathering on October 23.

Virtual Advocacy Day

Important climate programs and Statewide Public Services are on the line.
Do you want to support the work of the State Climatologist at OSU? How about ensuring that OSU continues to provide services to our communities across the state via its Extension and Statewide Public Service Programs? Then attend our Virtual Advocacy Day on Tuesday, November 16. Join small, informal group meetings with legislators on Zoom, and share about Oregon State’s vital work. Don’t worry if you’ve never met with elected officials before—we’ll help prepare and provide attendees with the necessary information. All you need to bring is enthusiasm for OSU. Oregon State will only be a priority in Salem if legislators hear from our advocates, so please join us next month and make your voice heard. Register here.

Unable to join us on November 16? Contact your legislator today and let them know their support for OSU matters to you. We have a user-friendly tool on our website that will let you contact your representative.

Want to find out what the OSU Statewide Public Service Programs are doing in your community? Find out here.

Register for Virtual Advocacy Day on November 16.
