The OSU Statewide Public Service Programs have demonstrated their commitment to serving Oregonians through applied research and evidence-based programs that impact economic development, youth leadership, ecosystem resilience and health statewide. Their ability to continue providing high-quality programing tailored to communities across the state will be severely impacted without adequate state investment.

This session, OSU is requesting a $23.5 million increase to sustain current operations, bolster capacity to meet critical needs and make strategic investments in support of a prosperous future for Oregon communities and industries. This includes:

• $17.5 M increase for full continued service level funding to sustain core mission programs and services.
• $6 M in new funding for integrated research and Extension efforts to support economic development, community vitality and workforce readiness statewide.
