Earlier this month an enthusiastic group of Beaver Caucus members traveled to the State Capitol to meet with legislators urging them to continue their investment in Oregon State University’s future.
Together we appealed directly to legislators for increased funding for higher education, including support for an overall increase for university operating funds and new funding for OSU-Cascades and the Quality Food and Beverage Building. We also advocated for funding for critical on-campus research and OSU statewide programs. After our legislator meetings, we capped off the day with an evening reception with legislators and a rousing speech by President Ray.
Thank you to all who participated for lending your thoughts and sharing your stories to ensure that the future of Oregon State University remains healthy and strong. We look forward to an exciting year of advocacy on behalf of our great university!
