An ambitious goal surpassed. A milestone reached. A community energized. Energized by more than 190 members of the OSU Marching Band. After an inspiring address to more than 700 alumni, donors, students and members of the business community at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, the band, piled off of Portland MAX light rail compartments and into the convention center, surprising and delighting the crowd. As attendees listened to the music, they contemplated Ray’s challenge: “We’re not done. The best is yet to come.”
