OSU Students, Alums and Friends –

The 2020 Oregon State Legislature is about to convene and legislators will be making critical decisions that will impact Oregon State University. They need to hear from OSU students, alums and friends. Will you do your part to support OSU?

Here’s what you need to know:

The state legislature will consider funding for two key OSU capital construction projects:

  • Arts and Education Complex on the OSU Corvallis campus: $35 million in state bonds matched by $35 million in donor and university funds for a total investment of $70 million.
  • Student Success Center on the OSU Cascades campus in Bend: $12.9 million in state bonds matched by $5 million in student-approved fees. (Read more about these projects)

Here’s how you can help:

  • Join us in Salem on Tuesday, January 14 at 9:30AM for Beaver Caucus Day at the Capitol. We will meet with state legislators and urge them to support funding for the OSU capital construction projects. We will have a training session before our meetings and arm you with the tools and resources to be an effective advocate.
  • Send an email to your legislator urging support for the capital construction projects.

This is your opportunity to tell legislators what OSU means to you. Urge them to support our great university so current and future students can benefit from these capital construction projects and an OSU education.

Please do your part! Send an email to your legislator and join us in Salem on January 14.

GO BEAVS!
