By becoming a member of The Beaver Caucus, you have added your voice to the chorus of OSU supporters across the state who feel that Oregon is better off if we invest in our students. One of the most critical ways that we can offer a superior and accessible education is through the allocation of state dollars to higher education. The past ten years of shrinking higher education budgets has left students in Oregon with the fourth lowest per student funding in the country.

This is not acceptable, and increasing the State of Oregon’s investment in higher education is The Beaver Caucus’ top priority. Fortunately, we now have a great opportunity to let our elected officials know why this is so important. The Oregon Legislature’s Joint Ways and Means Committee is holding public hearings all over the state, and we need Beaver Caucus members to make sure they know how important it is that we return our higher education funding back to pre-recession levels.
Please check the following list of hearings. If you are able to attend one or more of these hearings, please fill out this form, or send us an email at info@thebeavercaucus.org.
